Tiny wallet

I made this one for my girl pocket money that she takes with her to her crafts after school activity. She loves our teen local ice drink and candy shop, but still don't care to actually watch over her money.

Unfortunately, she does not like this one. She says the lining don't match the external fabric he he , which means I will have to make a new one with her stylish fabrics selection =D.
More sewing for me, FUN!

My Creative Space

Today I am starting to add the squares together!!! Yay!!! This one took me so long. It is definitely not easy to be sewing with a lovin' boobies newborn  =).
So, Finally last night I  finished working on all squares, lined it up, and planed how I wanted it to look from both sides (as seen above).

And, now all that is left is to attach 'em all. I don't know how long it will take me this time, but I am more than positive that this is going to be very therapeutic =D.

Fabrics touch up for Girly room decor #2

I love working with cork! And cork boards are so easy to transfer into lovely girly stuff for useful room decor.

-Here is super easy Jewelry stand from cork board. Making it is as simple as follow:
1) place the board on your fabric and trace its outline with a pencil, and add about 2 inches at outline for folding and attaching allowance and mark this new outline with a pencil.
2) cut your fabric according to the new outline.
3)place your fabric right side down, place the board on top of your fabric right side down as well. fold the fabric outline "frame" to the back of the board and staple it to the board as much as you need for it to stay tight in place.
4) now you can use these little question make hook shapes or simple plastic tacks for your Jewelry placing.
(I went to my husband work tools =D and found lots of stuff that I thought were great for this purpose )
and you're done =)

And, this is her note board that I have shown you here before.

Also made out of cork board, Only here, I sewed some pockets and decoration little things on the wanted fabric =)

New Girly pillow cases

My Daughter loves to brows and play with my fabric pile =) I must admit that at first she was the one that encourage me to keep on with my sewing. Every time she asked for something and I told her that I still don't know how to do it, she did not accept NO for an answer and persuade me to give it a try and told me "my mommy can make everything" (ohhhh yeh very melting manipulations techniques hehe). So, anyway to make long short, I must thank her for this, because I enjoy "messing" with fabrics soooooo much =).
I have made several things for her room, and these little fabric touch up add so much to it!

I have made most of the stuff from the same fabrics palette to have it all match to one another =)

So the pillow cases here, matches lots of things in her room =)
I will post more fabrics Girly room touch up soooooon!

I Guess

you have already noticed by now, THIS is very addictive hehe =D

Things are so so so (so very) busy around the house. My husband is on his duty, beside the fact that I really don't like to stay alone at the house, and being alone with the girls, there is lots of after schooling activity this week, and I think that baby Alona is having little growing jump which means she needs to be fed a lot more than what I have got used to. BUT, I am not complaining, I still found the time for studio crafting, lots of sewing machine time (yeh yeh Rag quilt addicts!!!) and lots of new reading from my first grade girl (<3) and lots of eating baby Alona cheeks time =D

Hope to get some photos for you sooooooon =)

Getting Ready

For Hanukkah!!! December is my fav time of the year, and each and every year I get little anxious until I "get there" =D
This year I am participating in EtsyChai Hanukkah sale, so international buyers will have enough time to get their gifting in time =)

I was playing with my fabrics and came up with these Driedles ornaments and key chains =) I think it is cute for the young at heart ones !
