My Creative Space

This week it is all about Rosh Hashana (Jewish new year) here. I went to my little one's preschool and played with "mud" with the kids =D. I really love it when i see kids around ceramic clay, they are so creative and have no boundaries with their imagination and ideas!!! But, this time we made from very gentle and comfy dotted gray clay all kind of holiday symbols. and these are the doves that the kids made and will become hanging mobiles after fire and glazing.
the dove symbolize peace for the new year to come.
Amen for that!

If you want to play this week, read all about it at kootoyoo!!

Much love

  2. You are so right about kids who just create without doubt. When is it that we start to doubt ourselves? The doves are beautiful. And hanging up will be a reminder to let go of your doubts. Happy new year to you.

  9. I used to take a kids potter class too. I loved the way they just got on with their creation and didn't worry about what others thought till they were older. If only we could keep a hold on that!
