My Creative Space

This was fun busy week at my studio =). I finally got some glazing done!!! I loooooooove glazing it is a therapy for me =). Here it is, glazed before fire - can't wait to see how it'll turn, it has been so long since I used some of these glazes I can't remember how they look like =D.

My Creative Space

I was not feeling good these past few days. The harder I tried to ignore it, the sickest I felt (Yack!)

So, therefor, I had to postpone all of my plans for this week.

No studio time at all, and my house looks like a total disaster. Today I have decided not to give myself a hard time,

and set by my IKEA new purchase and started adding it one by one.....(lots of it to add)

and eventually -

I have a new lightning in my living room. I have started to redecorate it, but plans aside from life

I do not know when am I really gonna get to get it all done..

My Creative Space

This week it is all about Rosh Hashana (Jewish new year) here. I went to my little one's preschool and played with "mud" with the kids =D. I really love it when i see kids around ceramic clay, they are so creative and have no boundaries with their imagination and ideas!!! But, this time we made from very gentle and comfy dotted gray clay all kind of holiday symbols. and these are the doves that the kids made and will become hanging mobiles after fire and glazing.

the dove symbolize peace for the new year to come.

Don’t know why, start glazing is always a heavy task for me…
But - - - once I start, it is such a great therapy, and my mind feels so relaxed.

Now, these apples are safely placed in the kiln . Cross your fingers I really want it to be ready on time for our forum meeting Friday =0)
