Greeeeeeeeeeeeens

Yesterday I needed to get some shopping done. I had to buy some special gifts for several friends events =0). I am totally gift shopper freak!!!!!
After I finished with all of my “dues”, I spotted green stones from a short distance =). I could not resist this set, it is something I wanted for some time to have (I am crazy about greens as you already know).

I kindly asked the seller to warp it for a gift and gave it to my husband when I got back home. At first, he did not know what (the hell) I want from him =0) but, with a little explanation( I told him that he just bought me some sweet nice gift and I thank him for that =D)
He was very pleased with the idea, and I was pleased to “give” me over my gift =D.

Party Time =0)

Tomorrow two of my dearest friends are having their engagement party up north, and we are going to celebrate with them =0). I am sure it will be a great event, only few family member are invited and the closest friends, and I am positive it will be very special and I am looking forward for it.

This is something I made for her: 2 sets of earrings, my very first golden necklace =0) and a ring.








I hope you like it, and I very much hope that my friend will LOVE it =0)

stay sane

I try to keep my head up and not to let myself fall into sadness and loss.

I know there is no way on earth that such evil would win, and

I know I am good in heart and I know I made no harm to no one -

So I do have faith in life, in god and in human kind -

That this time

The good ones will win.

I am going through some hard time , because someone decided so.

I am holding on through it all, trying to stay sane, keeping my family strong and united more than ever

I am learning so much from it about myself.

So, I thank the hard time for they teach me and let me know how important it is

To have your loved ones loving you back with no conditions,

And to have art in life as a great great comfort.

I know that most of you don’t know what it is about, but I felt the need to share.

I am making earrings and rings lately, it keeps my head busy with positive and beautiful, and gives me comfort.

I am having hard time taking good pics of it, but this is what I got so far (I hope you like it!!!)

Tiny Ghosts

My Ghosty ceramics earrings are made from white earthenware clay, impressed with a tiny tiny ghosty design and glazed in a clear glaze. I promise you that theses sweet ghosts are very friendly ones =0) and means no harm, but hanging out on human’s ears =D

The process of making these earrings is a long but very

satisfying one:

First, I formed the shape and stamped the wet clay, and let it try slowly in the room temperature.

After drying totally, I place it in the kiln for 1st fire.

After cooling from fire, I glaze it and let it dry again. And then, it goes to the kiln for 2nd fire.

12 karat Gold is applied over the cooled glaze and back again for 3rd fire!!!!!

So it is a long process, minimum 2 weeks for it to be made.

But, as I mentioned, very pleasant one!!!

Yay! Opening the Kiln

Porcelain and ceramics earrings and pieces of jewelry making is a looooooooooooooooooooog process, sometimes I find myself complain about the time it takes, and sometime… when I open the kiln I am soooooooooooo happy lol, I act like it is the first time it happened ever and I am so pleased with it =0)

So today, after a long sunny day, I went home and opened it – and Yayyyyyyy!!! I was very pleased with the results, and tonight I will make some very beautiful earrings out of it =0)

New Earrings =0)

I get bored really fast!! How about you?
I think this is why I always look for new things. New things to buy, new things to do, to make
And of course new places to travel =0) (ohhh ….” if I was a rich man …”)

The earrings making are new thing for me – so I am very pleased to do something new!!
I tend not to make two of the same kind .
I have listed some of it at my Etsy shop, hope you would give me a visit there =0).
This was from the first kiln, now I have porcelain drying and planned to be made with 12 karat gold and Platinum (white gold).
