Crochet gift tags

I love gifts wrapping, and I love to wrap my shop items. Knowing that sometimes, it has to go over to the other side of the world, beyond safety I always add something small and thoughtful.

When I saw this cute small motif pattern I knew it will be perfect for both using my scrap yarn and as a lovely gift tags :)
I think this is super cute, and I just can't stop making more and more and... :)

love for Japanese Crochet

I love Japanese crochet pattern, no no - I adore Japanese crochet pattern :).
I can't get enough browsing my books, or any new pattern that I can get a hold on online.
I am a true addict (and I love it).
My new crochet addiction is Raffia. And most of it I am taking from this cute cute pattern book.
かぎ針編みアンダリアのぼうしとバッグ (Let’s Knit series)

It is much slower to crochet, but the result just worth it, Plus it is so very hot right now so it is practical as well.
I am working on some summer gifts for my friends and family that I will be visiting on our vaction. They live in the very south part of Israel which is also happen to be the hottest super sunny spot as well, I am so positive this is going to be in great use for them :)

And one for me, of course, I will definitely need it while boiling out there,

I was going through many personal and not very easy on me things in the past few weeks. The only way that I could FREE my mind is to keep my hands busy. And, I am much much thankful for that ability to create and get busy with ideas, colors and just to MAKE something.

Happy New 2012 New FREE crochet pattern

Happy new 2012 ya' all :)
Hope this is going to be super lovely one for us all. I have cute new scarf/shawl pattern for you. This is based on this lovely drops design that I love. Only I wanted it to be less spacey and more warm like. So I have made the following changes.
Also the edge is totally different I wanted softer edge looking.

Instructions:
* Start with a magic ring
Row 1: ch4, {2dc, ch 1, 2dc} in magic ring
Row 2: ch 10,  {2dc, ch 1, 2dc}  in 1ch space, ch4, double triple crochet (dtr) in 4th ch of beginning chain.
Row 3: ch4,  {2dc, ch 1, 2dc}  in dtr, ch4, {2dc, ch 1, 2dc}  in 1ch space, ch4,  {2dc, ch 1, 2dc} in 4th ch of previous chain.
Row 4:  ch 10,  ({2dc, ch 1, 2dc}  in 1ch space, ch 4) x3, dtr  in 4th ch of previous chain.
Row 5:  ch4,  {2dc, ch 1, 2dc}  in dtr,  ch4, ({2dc, ch 1, 2dc}  in 1ch space, ch 4) x3,  {2dc, ch 1, 2dc} in 4th ch of previous chain.
Repeat rows 4 and 5 until desired length :)

Optional soft edge look:
Sc, 6ch,sc all around, until center st
at center st, sc, 3ch slst,sc, and continue at sc, 6ch,sc.

Poor sketch but it might help ;)

Enjoy this,
Much love
