And even more fun, is that the kiddos love it as well!! I am so happy about it =). After I made some for my 6 yrs girly, I gave one as a birthday gift to another cutie one in our family. And now, I was so pleased when his sister asked me to make her one for her birthday =). She love soft blues and I find this perfect fabric at IKEA, as well as the fleece layer =).

This great pattern is of course from the lovely Karen from Dear My Kids, I la la love her patterns!!

Rag doll (or so)

This was the cutest custom order I had to do in the past year, I must say. I had to turn 5 yrs old girl's burp cloth into a doll for her. It was time for her to say goodbye to the cloth, and her parents had this very thoughtfull idea of turning it into a doll for her.

Working with this fabric was very hard, at the beginning I even thought it would all tear apart.. But, it came out lovely and worked for the best, I even made her little skirt and hand band.

With cloth lefties I managed to make her simple tote bag with her name on it.

Knit sewing for ME

This is one of my New Year resolution, more handmade for me! I make things all the time, but rarely it will be for myself. So, as part and with this decision, I was so happy that I was able to test this Beautiful Roll Sweater Dress/Top pattern for Dan.A (DMK woman designs).

I must say I LOVED this pattern, and I bought several of new fabric to make more use of it ( as a longer/shorter dress, and make one with short sleeves as well)

Green Bunny

I'd rather my girl will play with wooden or fabric toys (plastic is huge NO - I can't help it, I hate the feeling of it for play time), and since I've learned to crochet, Amigurumi is such a wonderful play for all =)

Sunny Scarf for wintry days

I made this one for my 6yrs who complained that all of winter's scarfs that she sees around her are dark colored =). I went right away to make a little cheer for her.

She did not want to pose for me ;) but trust me, she looks cutely gorgeous in this color =)

Mary Jane Baby Booties

It is getting colder around here, and no matter what I try to put on baby Alona's tiny feet it keeps falling off. So, I have decided to make her some crocheted socks. I was going over Revelry patterns and got this fake Mary Jane idea from here, but I must day I did not like the pattern. And I went ahead and made something out of my head. I really like the result, though I need to make it little bigger, since I think it will last only for the very near time.

Now I am working on this pattern trying to remember what I did (he he) and to make one as well for my 6 yrs girly girl. Hopefully I'll be focused enough to write this down and will post it here if it will all work out good =).

Ikea sale turns out to be great one this time =)

In between

24 hrs is just not enough.. I need way more time than that =D. I feel like no matter what I do, it is always going to lack out of something else, kids, crafting, cooking, taking care of the house, the husband, the dog...oh well ya' get it (and I am not going to say a thing about "what about me"...). I hope tomorrow I'll feel better about life and such.

Serger dreams

How I want one NOW!!!! BUT, I have decided that this will be one great lesson from my new year resolution, not to be as impulsive as I can get hehe and try to rethink my shopping lists =).

Now, I know I will get it, the only Q's is what, where and when ;) but for now, I will hold on to it in my day dreams and will try to make a little research on it. (SO IF YOU HAVE ONE I'D LOVE TO HEAR ABOUT IT!!!!!PLS!!!!)

I was being able to start sewing reversible DMK dress for my girl today, hope I'll be bale to finish it soon enough.
