New Dress for my baby girl

New Criss Cross dress for baby Alona. This is the second time I use this pattern (first was made as a gift) and it is very nice one. I think I want to try it out with a velvet for my 6 yrs girl =).

As usual, it is just getting harder to get her stay still for a nice photo he he

last but not least ;) This is the last one I made during the KCWC =). This cute one is The Criss-Cross Avery Dress  by Pink Poodle Bows.

I am glad I found this pattern shop, they have some beautiful girls dresses! I made this one as a little addition to birthday gift, for cute beautiful baby girl who is having her first birthday this weekend.

I think it will look nice as well with shorter skirt, I know I will give it a try for my girls for summer.

Onesie Makeover =)

I just had to give this a try =D

So many things to do..

At Such little time... =D I know I just gave birth, I know it is summer vacation , BUT.... I guess this is my character - I just can't wait to get back on track of life!!!! There are so many things I want to make and get done around the house!!!!

little one (correction: my bigger one =D) is going to first grade, and I am so so so excited about it (more than her i think!) we bought all we need - now we just need to organize it for her =).

My brother's wedding is only a week a way - I am happy to say I found a cute RED dress (that hide my tummy =D)!! 

Now I really need to find nice shoes!!! 

WHAT DO YOU THINK WILL BE NICER: BLACK OR GOLDEN SHOES FOR MY RED DRESS??

I could not decide today but I don't have much time to hesitate on that...

Our new business is about to be open in just few more days!!!! Great news for us!! All the hard work, and year and a half of waiting will soon start to pay off!!

So, there are so many things (new and exciting!) I must RELAX =D I wish I knew how to (lol)

like mother like daughter

Two weeks ago, my friend gave me some of her unwanted elastic fabrics yards. I was looking at it forever, and didn't know what to do with it, and was bit worried about sewing elastics as well =).

Anyway, my growing belly, caused a change! Since nothing is comfortable anymore, and I find my self in this heat going only with strapless dresses, I have decided to go ahead and try to make one for myself {BIG CHALLENGE FOR ME =D}.

Ans so I did. But, I am a lazy one, so I just made a "tube" left some space for my coming weeks to grow :) made a belt and that's it =) Comfy and me happy =).

With the lefties, I made my mini the same dress.

I don't have normal photo of me in this dress, Husband was not cooperating  this weekend =P

I love blogs, I love learning and getting inspired!

Since I am a "STAY HOME MOM" and since my pregnancy made me stay at bed for lonnnnnnnng time mom, I must say I have learned so so much from the Internet. So many talented and lovely ladies who shares their ideas and techniques online got me so inspired and thought me a great deal of things!!! One of the greatest blogs I follow is Prudent Baby. I Must say that I have learned all I know about sewing from this blog (and I would like to thank Jamie its owner for keeping it so good and a live =)). I am making so many things for my girl and for myself out of her amazing tutorials, if you do not know her blog yet you MUST enter!!

And so it happened, that my mommy asked me to make a little dress for a friend's sweetly girl. I, of course used this tutorial for dress basics, and I have another sweet lady, Kate from Fox lane, who got me so inspired with her crochet motifs added to little dresses that I had to give it a try as well!

How about blue?

Blue lovely tunic =), this one has large pockets on the sides, and can be worn both sides =) My mini likes the dark fabric better, so she has it like this. She wanted me to make her something BLUE, and these were the only blue fabrics I had.

No pattern really, I tried to make her a dress and she asked for a tunic instead, so I was playing with the fabrics until I came up with something =D.

Also shoulder strap  are tied by hand =) so it can fits many sizes =)

Strawberries and spots summer dress for my Mini one =) The fabrics is by her choice =) and for template I used a combination of two of her comfy dresses =) I still can't believe i can make something that is actually wear able =D

Another grandfather dress =D (You can tell my dad cleaned his wardrobe ha ha)

I saw many tutoring around the net for this idea, but I was too lazy, so I took one of her dresses and copied its layout on the shirt.
