Baby corduroy dress

The minute I saw this post on prudentbaby I went to print the pattern and cut the corduroy fabric for it. I thought it was too cute and easy to pass on it. I had to wait few days until baby Alona allowed me  the spare time to sew it together, but as I said it was very quick one!

I love the way it fits, I might make some more with different variations and fabrics.

I used a snap on tiny button instead of sewing one, I like it better for babies =).

I have so many things to share, the only problem is that I am having such hard time getting the photos done! The little miss plays it DIVA and she won't cope as I wish and I am so tired lately to negotiate things so i am just waiting for her to be willing to do so...and, as for myself, my husband is getting back so late from work when it is all dark outside, and on weekend we have so much going on, so I am hoping that sometime this week I will somehow manage to get it done =p.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend

I Guess

you have already noticed by now, THIS is very addictive hehe =D

 Things are so so so (so very) busy around the house. My husband is on his duty, beside the fact that I really don't like to stay alone at the house, and being alone with the girls, there is lots of after schooling activity this week, and I think that baby Alona is having little growing jump which means she needs to be fed a lot more than what I have got used to. BUT, I am not complaining, I still found the time for studio crafting, lots of sewing machine time (yeh yeh Rag quilt addicts!!!) and lots of new reading from my first grade girl (<3) and lots of eating baby Alona cheeks time =D

Hope to get some photos for you sooooooon =)

Nursing cover

Trrrrrrrrrr terrrrrrrrrr trrrrrrrrrr this is the "soundtrack" of how I am passing my days in front of my sewing machine =D. The bigger I get the harder I push myself to finish ALL of my TO DO lists =).

{can you see my label? =D}

But, in between I like to make some things for my friends just because I love them. I made cute Nursing cover for my friend, when I saw this fabric I knew I have to have it =D (in several colors =)) And now I am glad I found a nice use to it =). For great Nursing cover tutorial, please give a visit to the lovely Prudent baby.

=) Bias tape bag

{Bias tape bag from Prudent Baby}

The little things that makes us happy sometimes are really the tiniest in life.
For me, as the days of my pregnancy go by, I see that if my Girl smiling i feel immediately joy and gets all emotional. Also, I got to know, that every little check mark on my "TO DO" lists of projects, makes me jump all around with happy happy faces =D

I have finally got done this week with bags making. When I started sewing Bags were my wishful thinking, and for some reason it took me some time to get it done.
This one here, is super cute and very simple tutorial by Prudent baby, you should really give it a try.  I have more in progress to show you later on =).

I went to pregnancy watch center today, and it might be so that my baby is due earlier than they thought...I really don't know... I have learned from my first one, that they come when they are ready and we are not good at predicting it =D. So, I am now really thinking it is about time to take care of Baby to dos =) just in case they will  be a nice surprise for me =)

I love blogs, I love learning and getting inspired!

Since I am a "STAY HOME MOM" and since my pregnancy made me stay at bed for lonnnnnnnng time mom, I must say I have learned so so much from the Internet. So many talented and lovely ladies who shares their ideas and techniques online got me so inspired and thought me a great deal of things!!! One of the greatest blogs I follow is Prudent Baby. I Must say that I have learned all I know about sewing from this blog (and I would like to thank Jamie its owner for keeping it so good and a live =)). I am making so many things for my girl and for myself out of her amazing tutorials, if you do not know her blog yet you MUST enter!!

And so it happened, that my mommy asked me to make a little dress for a friend's sweetly girl. I, of course used this tutorial for dress basics, and I have another sweet lady, Kate from Fox lane, who got me so inspired with her crochet motifs added to little dresses that I had to give it a try as well!

Thanks for all!!! I enjoy this so much!
