Birdcage

This was great fun to make =). I found this great DIY tutoring at this lovely Israeli blog (for non Hebrew readers , the images are very clear and easy to follow!!!) The birds pattern was taken from here, also from this blog (Although my machine was striking that day and I had to sew it all by hand =p - Lucky me, my mother fixed my machine).

This is very fun to make with the kids as well, I know I am going to make some more!!!

I took a break from my day job, I really had enough of it. I hope that I am back to my art way of life. Being out of it was very hard for me. Too much reality is not healthy I guess for anyone, collapsed economy, major terror attacks, working 24/7…..brrrrrrrrr.....I think it is back to studio time!!!!! Wish me luck on this time:)

This is something that I am not used to making – but I really needed an emotional break and I made this one, I don't have a good picture of it, still I hope you'll enjoy it
