Back to Life

<3

This was such an awful week! I was in bed all day long. BUT it had a real GOOD start =) My birthday was such a fun lovely family time, I really needed that and missed us all being out together.
At the end of this lovely day, I fainted (ouch!!!!) and took me about a week to get back to normal and being able to run wild around again =D.

even tiny one is happy =)

So so so happy to be back again! Many things are on my "To Do" and I can't stand another day of delay! (he he)
Hoping to share with you sooooooooooon.

Fabrics "for boys"

My favorite kid just had his birthday, and we are going to celebrate it next week with his family. I really want to make him a nice hooded coat for winter. So, I try, as hard as I can, to find "boy" matching colors from my stock before I drive to the city....
this is the only comb that I like so far, wish me luck =)!!

Reversible Ribbon Jacket

When I saw DMK pattern shop at first I knew I am just gonna have to try and make this ribbon jacket no matter what =D!
I must say that their pattern are super friendly and easy to follow - I am in loooooove hehe. The fabrics are my girl choice, it is Dark blue jeans and cheery flowers and hearts on light blue.

Also with the great help of this tutorial I made rolled fabric flowers matching hair accessories.

Crochet Japanese Baby Shawl

color came out too dark in this photo

Finally I am done with this baby shawl!!!! I used a thin thread so it took a while but I am happy with it =D.

I love love love this color, I ordered so many of it =) I have already made this short cardi for my girl, and this shawl for my tiny one, (maybe  now it is time I will make something for me with it) =)

Anyway, I highly recommend to download (free) this patterns Japanese book, it is sooooooooooo lovely and well explained ( This shawl is pattern no.21).

Rainbow Cake

Since I am a great fan of Macrobiotic food, food coloring is not something you will find in our daily menu. So when me and my daughter first saw this, I had some mixed emotions on making this. And, then I have decided why not it is only one time a year and she looked so happy while watching it =D so I went ahead and made her this one. I must say it is very quick and easy process. The only thing is that if you make it a day ahead the layers pressing each other and might look thinner (a lot)than they were before.

adult size cardi?

The weather changes effected me I guess, and I feel like I have hedgehog in my Throat and can't really do much around the house. So, Instead of finishing one crochet project and move to another I have been working on 3 of them at the same time. Each one is at a different part of the house, and I try to sneak a row here and there =)
